Міждержавний стандарт, що визначає єдині вимоги до обліку нафти під час її приймання та здавання в нафтопровідних системах. Він встановлює процедури вимірювання маси, об’єму, контролю показників якості та порядок оформлення відповідної документації.
Забезпечити використання повірених засобів вимірювальної техніки та дотримуватися регламентованих формул для розрахунку маси нетто нафти з урахуванням баласту (води, хлористих солей та механічних домішок).
